W. Garland Hanson CSP is the principal consultant and has been a safety professional since 1977 and a certified safety professional (CSP) since 1991. Prior to striking out on his own in 1997, Mr. Hanson worked as a safety professional supporting the shipbuilding, insurance, and manufacturing industries.
Mr. Hanson opened the Arizona Safety Center, a successful safety consulting business, in Phoenix in 1997. Mr. Hanson and his family then relocated to the Richmond, VA area in 2004 in an effort to move closer to family. Atlantic Safety LLC is a safety consulting firm based in Midlothian, Virginia, a Richmond suburb.
