W. Garland Hanson CSP is the principal consultant and has been a safety professional since 1977 and a certified safety professional since 1991. Prior to striking out on his own in 1997, Mr. Hanson worked as a safety professional supporting the shipbuilding, insurance, and manufacturing industries.

* Our field inspection methodologies make sense. We will concentrate on the hazards that are most prevalent in your industry and make sensible recommendations. We won’t waste your time.
* We make experience-based, common sense interpretations of the applicable safety standards for your operation. If we don’t know or aren’t sure about something, we’ll tell you, then get back to you ASAP with the correct information!
* Safety training shouldn’t be boring! ALL Atlantic Safety LLC training programs are tailored to your specifications and operations. Many of our programs are supplemented with electronic presentations, appropriate videos, and to-the-point handouts. We run programs that are as interactive as possible for your students. We use your historic experience examples and get to the point. Within a few minutes, photos of YOUR operations are inserted into the presentation to further enhance training effectiveness!
* The instructor will ALWAYS report to your site prior to the course in order to get familiar with your operation, company policies, and safety performance history.
* Complete training documentation of ATTENDANCE and UNDERSTANDING including an outline of the information covered, name of the instructor, sign in sheets, exams or quizzes, training acknowledgement forms and copies of any course completion cards are provided for your files.
* For self-improvement and to determine course effectiveness, a course evaluation form will be handed out for completion at EVERY training course with results reported to the client.

* Training is only one part of an effective safety program. Ongoing reinforcement and support of core safety issues and values is vital to an effective safety program.
* If you can’t do it, you can’t train other people to do it!!!
*There is no such thing as a compliant or effective stand-alone web-, PC-, CD-, or video-based safety-training program. Safety training must be tailored to your particular operation and existing Company policies. Historic safety performance and previous incidents should be discussed. A competent person must be available to answer questions, explain procedures, and conduct hands-on exercises (among other things).
